    Pendry Park City

    Pendry Park City

We were very impressed by Pendry Park City, Park City’s newest luxury hotel resort. With a great layout and space with 153 units particularly suited to large groups and multi-room units. In fact, you can reach out to the hotel and discuss the best room configuration for you and your party because there are so many options available. They can guarantee your room type upon booking.

All 1 bedroom or larger units come with a washer-dryer, 4 bedroom units have a mixture of king and double beds and have close access to Canyon Village.

There’s a strong focus on wellbeing, from the fresh, clean decor and design, to the pool and spa, Wellness Lounge Oxygen Therapy, rooftop pool and even IV therapy.

The slopes are just a 2 minute walk with ski rental available, bike rental available and a ski in-and-out format.

Although the rooftop area is small, there’s a full range of events and activities from live music Thursday through Sunday and it’s the only hotel in Park City with a rooftop bar.

Renovated in 2021, with 172 rooms, 44 condos and 4 residences with pools, Stein Eriksen can cater for families and most party sizes, with 1-4 bedroom units available. The condo units have the largest balconies and also come with hot tubs for an extra après ski touch of luxury.

The hotel has a distinctly European feel with true ski in and out, full valet service, ski shop and rental and it is a major hub for the whole mountain.

While amenities are good, some parts of the hotel such as the restaurant are still undergoing renovation. They also offer an onsite excursion specialist, Expert Active, which offers transfers, bike rental, ATVs, kayaking, distillery whiskey tasting, rafting, rock climbing, city tours and more.

      St Regis Deer Valley

With 183 rooms and spacious suites that can be connected to create 3-bedroom suites perfect for families, this would be a great option for multi-generational families and larger groups to be able to stay together. Unfortunately the St Regis Deer Valley has discontinued its kids club which is a shame as their proximity to the ski school is fantastic.

Located on the lower base of the mountains with three restaurants and a cafe offering a grab and go breakfast and a ski rental shop in the basement, this is a great option if you just want to get out and hit the slopes.

The hotel also offers a 24-hour fitness centre, spa with 11 treatment rooms, oxygen treatment and nail salon, plus a huge steam room and jacuzzi covering 14,000 sq ft.

With a wine vault catering for private dinners and the space for weddings up to 108 guests, there’s plenty of options for larger groups, although current staffing shortages are temporarily making that more challenging.
